DECORATING REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
All trees should be decorated with lights. They enhance your display, especially in dimly lighted areas. When putting lights on a tree, follow the contour of the branches, bringing out the beauty of the tree. A guideline for the number of lights needed is 75 to 100 bulbs per foot of tree.
The light sets you use must be independent of each other so if one light goes out, all the others must stay on. Test each strand of lighting you purchase to make sure this occurs; take one light out of the socket and plug the string in to see if the others stay on. A good quality light set comes with extra bulbs and fuses. Please keep these items with your display.
Test lights before putting them on the tree, then again before putting on the decorations. Be mindful of the manufacturer’s recommendations of how many strands may be plugged into one line.
If your lights have an extremely short wire, please attach an extension cord.
No lit candles are allowed.
Your display must be able to withstand reasonable transportation.
Please do not use any spray paint/spray snow on trees.
1. Securely wire tree parts, lights and decorations to your display.
2. Tree Skirts or draping are required for all tree displays.
3. Fluffing & lights enhance your display.
4. All display items should be included in the sale of your display.
5. All displays must be able to endure reasonable transportation.
